The goal of cxcDirect Math Club is to assist the effort to increase the CXC CSEC pass rate in mathematics, which still remains below 50%.

Our strategy is simply;

• Focus on the need for continuous self assessment as part of the preparation for the exam.
• Provide high quality content to assist the preparation.
• Build the confidence of students by guiding them through typical exam style questions using a step by step approach. Our workbooks for example, will guide some students through problems they would normally avoid.

cxcDirect was started by John Spencer, an Engineer and Educator with a deep interest in building capacity in foundation mathematics.  We are heavily indebted to all teachers and educators who have supported this effort, and who continue to offer valuable insights and suggestions.
